YAKUM is an international organisation that works with indigenous people in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Their aim is to provide alternatives for deforestation, replacing harmful mass-agriculture such as palm oil, and reintroducing species that have been used for thousands of years by indigenous communities for food, medicine and handicrafts.
Jenny communicated our work to the world! The visually friendly and contemporary design of our website has helped us tremendously to attract donors, collaborators and funding. She really understood our message, and was super flexible and patient when it came to training us how to go on to create pages and blog posts ourselves.

We are working to build opportunities for children in one of the most vulnerable communities in The Gambia. Plant & Pencil aims to develop the school and transform their land into a market garden, producing cash crops that will eventually pay for day-to-day expenses, making the school self-sustainable. Alongside our fundraising efforts, we donate 10% of our earnings to this project.
This single-page website contains visual, bite-sized information separated by contemporary green page styling and patterns. The customized donation buttons are used in several places giving the user plenty of opportunity to make a contribution. plantandpencil.org
Our client needed a website to promote her new product which aims to guide teachers to support young people with learning difficulties, including autism. The completed website is super friendly and professional with a cheerful, sunny colour scheme and simple, succinct messages. Using a very sensitive approach, we used images of students working in contemporary rolling homepage banners. This approach has gone on to inspire the trust of countless teachers and parents.
I highly recommend Jenny for website design, she’s a super person to work with. Creative, energetic, reliable and thoughtful!

Sandele is based on the south coast of The Gambia in West Africa. The foundation has six strategic interests including community development: particularly by the design and implementation of village plans, improving livelihoods: especially of women and girls, dealing with youth unemployment, promoting self-reliance and business entrepreneurship, reforestation, and mitigating the impact of climate change.
“I lived in a homestay in Kartong Village for several weeks to work alongside the Sandele team. We put together a gorgeous, colourful and user-friendly website for their eco-retreat bookings, showcasing their wonderful “greening” projects, and using infographics to portray bitesized information about their motivations and accomplishments to date”. The client wanted instant impact - to make noise, grab headlines and start social media trends. My design has a stylish vibe with large striking images showcasing their projects, a creative use of white space with punchy headlines, all complemented by highly recognisable brand partnerships.
Tomás de Berlanga school is situated within the tiny community on Galápagos Island, Santa Cruz. Despite their achievements, the school still relies heavily upon donations. The curriculum focuses strongly on the natural history of the Galápagos, giving students exceptional knowledge about the islands.
Jenny at Little Green Space restructured our website design, making the site clean and easy to navigate. She continues to provide technical support until today, and this has considerably enhanced our image. We could not have accomplished it without her!

We used a calming combination of pastels within contemporary, geometric backdrops. An approachable, positive structure that reflects Leila’s super warm personality.
Jenny is a pleasure to work with! She has the ability to turn ideas and thoughts into beautiful design!

Artemis is an independent boutique in the heart of the North Laines in Brighton. In recent years it has grown from a small outdoor stall into a established and attractive shop. It specialises in unusual globally-sourced goods for bohemian interiors.
Many of the products Artemis offers are unique; sourced from remote communities as far afield as the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and the Tatra Mountains in central Europe.
The client is now aiming to produce niche products for luxury teepee interiors. For this work in progress, I am working on rebranding and art direction, as well as website design, calling upon my years of experience in the magazine industry - directing photo-shoots, styling and design.
