Little Green Space is delighted to have collaborated with container gardening specialist, Paul Williams, on our 2010 Collections of ready planted window boxes.
Our ready planted range is available in different shape and size containers from simple stone & resin blend to sleek zinc. This Spring into Autumn collection includes the Renaissance (which moves from Winter to Spring with beautiful flowering bulbs) and the Kensington Green Window Box, a stylish design based on the classic boxes in some of London’s top residential streets. Other designs include Spring Bloombox, The Ravensbourne Box and The White Heather Box.
Each of Paul’s designs includes a careful selection of plants that together look stunning in containers. Paul believes that our outdoor spaces are precious and should be regarded as an extension of our living areas. Container gardens, in particular, are living works of art that provide inspiration through colour.
Paul has a wealth of horticulture knowledge and experience from his long professional career that began at Pershore Horticulture college. He teaches and lectures nationally at gardening clubs and societies and his international speaking includes a recent appearance at the Rose and Garden Show in Japan. His broadcasting work includes popular contributors for Radio one Oxford where he provides essential gardening tips and advice during lively phone-ins.
Paul is a prolific gardening writer and is interested in a wide variety of topics including container gardening and use of colour in the garden. ‘Digging Deeper’ won a Garden Writers’ Guild ‘Enthusiasts Book of the Year’ award. He is a regular contributor to BBC Gardeners’ World magazine and is regularly commissioned to write articles for national newspapers (Telegraph, Guardian) and various gardening periodicals.
